  Private Chef

My name is Guy Pickthall. From the age of 16, after being educated at Kings Bruton, I realised I had a passion for food after working in a restaurant as a Kitchen Porter called Bruton house at the age of 14, This inspired me to become a chef and excel in my field. I began working in a Michelin star restaurant and 2/3 rosette gastro pubs. From my experiences and skills I have learnt it became clear I could use my occupation to explore different areas of my field and travel. I have now settled with my wife and created a successful catering company, Alongside of which I have worked as a private chalet host, yacht chef (all qualifications up to date) and domestic private house chef for very high profile clients.

Prices start from £250 to £1000 a day depending on the quantity and style of food that you require and how much prep is needed before hand.

Canapes

Partridge breast, smoked pancetta, beetroot puree 

Curried monkfish rail scampi, pea puree

Dinner

King hand dived scallops, Stornoway black pudding, curried parsnip vanilla bean purée, samphire, parsley oil  

Fillet of beef, crispy panko celeriac herb chips, jerusalem  artichoke puree, savoy cabage, pink peppercorn and Somerset woodland hedgehog mushroom and bone marrow jus

Poached Havana Club pineapple, coconut sorbet, pink peppercorns, lemon balm, dark bitter chocolate
